Quodlibs is the ODL QC Blog written by me, David Morley, as Chief Executive. Quodlibs started in 2002, as a weekly email newsletter to accredited providers. It covers a wide range of topics: running a small education business; pedagogy, assessment and accreditation; technical matters, both on- and off-line; and news, views and reviews, from the UK and abroad, affecting ODL providers. Quodlibs is informal; a commentary on the accounts of others, interspersed with the odd original thought. I strive for literacy, rather than falling back on the run-of-the-mill ramblings that litter so much of the web, where ill-fitting English is so often portrayed as the new smart-casual. My aim is to "sing freely" and with a hint of humour, as its name implies. I recognise that this may not be to everyone's taste. But if we in education cannot prick the pomposity that passes for political life in this country, heaven help us. Links to the current blog, and to earlier articles, are on the right. Whilst I do my best to keep quodlibs error-free, if anyone spots the odd blemish, please let me know. All opinions in quodlibs are, of course, my own, and not necessarily those of ODL QC
