Assessment reveals excellence of Investigation Academy
Formed in 1998, the NIG Academy of Professional Investigation evolved from the Nationwide Investigations Group, and its comprehensive training programmes, which includes their vast practical experience, skill, and in-depth knowledge acquired over many decades.

Through the Academy’s Distance Learning Course in Private Investigation, candidates can learn not only the basic “know-how” to be able to enter the profession, but also to acquire the underpinning knowledge necessary to ultimately achieve the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in Investigation, Level 3 & 4.

To attain accreditation, a provider must demonstrated the excellence of all areas of its provision, including course materials, administration, and tutorial support. Following a decision by the ODL QC yesterday, the NIG Academy is now among the elite in distance learning.

The Academy can now display the ODL QC Quality Mark, to demonstrate this accomplishment.

Commenting on the news, Dr Morley of the ODL QC said,
“NIG is an excellent specialised provision, which fills an important gap in the distance learning market. During the assessment process, the staff at NIG were eager for comment and keen to respond to suggestions. The course materials are attractive - well produced, well thought through, and worthy of comparison with many of the best examples from the sector.”

For their part, the NIG Academy, according to its Head Tutor Keith Walker, is
“Delighted to receive accreditation and proud to use the quality mark to demonstrate to learners the quality provision in training that is provided. The NIG Academy is committed to our learning programme and this accreditation will mean a partnership in support and expansion plans.”
