Little Arthur Independent School becomes the latest ODL QC provider to receive re-accreditation. Originally set up to provide education for school aged children on St Martins, Little Arthur now specialises in courses aimed at home-schooled children aged 11-17. These courses allow them to follow a school, National Curriculum based education in the core subjects of Maths, English and Science from 11-14. For children aged 14-17 Little Arthur offers packs covering International GCSEs in 10 subjects. These include Maths, English, Biology, Physics, Business Studies and Environmental Management. ODL QC re-accredits providers approximately every 3-4 years to reassure learners the provision is still achieving the high standards of quality it demonstrated at the initial accreditation. David Morley, ODL QC Chief Executive said "Little Arthur is an excellent example of how a small provider with understanding of education, and a clear commitment to quality, can develop a distance learning provision worthy of accreditation." |
Richard Morton, Principal at Little Arthur commented "We are delighted to hear that our provision has been accredited by the ODLQC. For us it is vitally important that parents can feel confident that, in selecting our courses, they are providing a high standard of education for their children within their own home. ODLQC provides just such assurance, guaranteeing quality provision." - - - - Ends - - - - Further details from: Nicola Green at ODL QC Or from | ||
