INTESOL International is the latest provider to become accredited by the ODL QC.

The status of English as an international language and the increasing number of students studying English as a second or foreign language is creating a growing requirement for qualified, well-trained English language teachers both abroad and also in the UK.

To meet this need INTESOL offers residential courses and a fully accredited 150+ hour distance learning TESOL Certificate, awarded by the College of Teachers.

In addition to the course materials and tutorial support, the Council learnt that learners get help with finding overseas posts and can complete their studies with a weeklong teaching practice.

Council welcomed the application from INTESOL and were delighted to accredit it. In addition to meeting the ODL QC Standards, its qualifications are externally awarded, which gives both Council and prospective learners confidence in the course outcome.

INTESOL operates in a highly competitive market place; and can now use the ODL QC Quality Mark as further proof of the excellence of the provision.
