Excellence extending to distance learning

ODL QC is pleased to announce the accreditation of INCARE Services for its quality distance learning provision.

Established in 1991, INCARE Services is a specialist provider of training for staff working in care homes and other related facilities.

Together with face-to-face courses, INCARE Services offers distance learning courses which aim to provide important underpinning knowledge for staff working within the new Skills for Care framework and for staff involved in NVQs in care.

ODL QC Chief Executive David Morley commented "It is good to find a provider with a proven track record of excellence in delivering short, face-to-face courses extending their provision by moving into distance learning".

Upon hearing of the successful accreditation Steve Martyn RMN RN, Care Training Manager - INCARE, said "Incredibly, when we started INCARE Services 15 years ago, it was almost impossible to find an appropriate quality assessment package for the diversity of the care training services we provided. With many new training providers starting up in the last few years, finding quality training has become more difficult and can often be a ‘hit or miss’ process for the learner. We are therefore absolutely delighted to be awarded accreditation with the ODLQC, who were thoroughly professional and helpful during the entire process."
