The Regent Academy has re-affirmed the quality of its distance learning. First assessed and awarded ODL QC accreditation in 1999, this was yesterday extended for another 3 years.

The Academy offers interior design and related art and design courses, as well as a range of courses in writing, journalism, alternative therapies, computer skills, and other related career-oriented subjects.

The accreditation report described the Academy as "well-run and efficient" and had special praise for the design and presentation of the course materials. These are:
"attractively packaged, presented and laid out, with good supporting material, study guidance, and coverage of the subject as a whole."

Accredited providers use the ODL QC Quality mark to show that they have achieved the national Standards for open and distance learning. The mark offers valuable reassurance to learners, who know that the providers who display it are covered by the ODL QC Guarantee.
