WeTrain4U
- first ODL QC Accredited online learning

22nd March 2002

WeTrain4U Limited yesterday became the first online distance learning provider to be accredited by the Open and Distance Learning Quality Council. The accolade was awarded after a thorough assessment of their systems, publicity, course materials, and tutorial support.

WeTrain4U is part of the Nyala Group, based at Nailsea near Bristol. Over 600 courses are offered, in subjects from practical IT and technical computing to business skills. The Group was recently nominated as one of the World's top 100 providers of education software.

Tim Totty, of WeTrain4U, welcomed the news:
"The Group has spent the past four years establishing its reputation as a quality provider of training software. The accreditation by the ODL QC validates all the hard work that has been put in to creating the right learning environment and is a clear signal of our commitment to the highest quality."

Welcoming the award, ODL QC Chief Executive, Dr David Morley, said,
"With the rapid growth of e-learning, it is a pleasure to identify and publicly acknowledge a provider of online courses willing and able to develop a service which reaches the high standards set by the Council."
