New Provider Status reaches a peak
A record number of providers were granted New Provider Status at ODL QC's latest Council meeting.

Offering distance learning courses in their early stages:

  • Inter High School, an internet school for pupils aged 11-17 years;
  • SSG Training & Consultancy who offer Health & Safety Courses including NEBOSH and IOSH.
  • Train 4 Ltd, a newly formed IT training organisation



    While, in their development stages:

  • Kent Graduate Management College are developing study guides for IPMA Post Experience Professional Qualifying Programme;
  • Plumbing & Drainage Academy Ltd are preparing to offer distance learning courses to complement the practical training they currently provide to learners in their purpose built training centre;
  • Torch Trainers, a registered member of the Barnet Voluntary Services Council are establishing housing, welfare and paralegal courses to complement their services.

  • Under New Provider Status these providers are entering into a commitment to work towards ODL QC full accreditation, usually within a two year period. Until they achieve full accreditation they are not fully covered by the ODL QC guarantee and they are not able to use our Quality Mark.
