Responding to an increasing demand in Montessori trained teachers, Modern Montessori International is a relatively new provision that offers Montessori training worldwide. MMI’s distance learning provision, run from the London headquarters, includes home-study tuition and related workshops.

For students who wish to undertake a degree course, the MMI Diploma is accepted for admission or as credit by several UK universities.

The provision was yesterday found to meet the ODL QC Standards, and so was awarded accreditation to acknowledge the quality of the distance learning it offers.

Alongside other providers accredited by the ODL QC, MMI is now able to use the Quality Mark in its promotional materials, reassuring potential learners that they have been independently assessed, and are covered by the ODL QC Guarantee.

Zelda Ann from MMI welcomed the news, saying,
“There is no doubt that the ODL QC have gained a very high standard in their work, and on behalf of MMI, I take this opportunity to express my appreciation for granting us their seal of approval. It will undoubtedly benefit our aim in raising the standard of education.”
