In 1997, the London School of Classical Homoeopathy became the first specialist homeopathy provider to be ODL QC accredited.

The accreditation report describes the School as “hard to fault,” and highlights competent management, impressive learning materials, and a high level of personal care for each learner.

The assessor also paid tribute to the “strong sense of a community of teaching and learning informed by a dedicated commitment to the profession of homoeopathic medicine.”

Yesterday, the ODL QC Council confirmed, with the renewal of the award, that the School continues to provide excellent learning opportunities.

A spokesperson for the LSCH said,
“We are delighted to have been re-accredited by the Council today. Our School has a high reputation and is in the forefront of developments in homoeopathic education. We continue to offer high quality courses, and provide comprehensive, user-friendly, learning materials and dedicated tutorial support.”

Courses on offer include Introductory and Medical Sciences programmes and the Foundation Course in Classical Homeopathy. The Foundation Course can be taken alone or as an alternative to the first year of the 4-Year Part-time Professional Course, which provides education and clinical training for a professional career in Homoeopathy.

In recommending the re-accreditation Dr David Morley, reporting assessor and ODL QC Chief Executive, repeated the praise from the first report, and added that in many ways the School’s distance learning provision can “stand comparison with the best.”
