The London Art College specialises in art courses by Distance Learning, catering for "All ages, All stages", from beginners to the more experienced artist. Courses cover a wide range of techniques and abilities, as well as the History of Art. Tutors are both trained teachers and successful active artists who love their profession and want to pass on their expertise to their students. As the assessor’s report to ODL QC acknowledges: "its central strength is the quality of the relationship which is developed with learners; friendly, professional and able to offer clear, fair encouraging yet, when necessary, critical guidance in the development of the learner’s skills." Now, for the first time, those strengths have been recognised through the award of ODL QC accreditation. |
College Principal, Peter Fisher welcomed ODL QC's move to grant the college accreditation: "This decision is very much appreciated as it will give students additional reassurance about the quality of our programmes, the professionalism of our artist/tutors and the commitment of all at the college to provide our students with first class art tuition and support". "Every artist has different ambitions and no two students are treated alike.
