International Teachers College (ITC) London, an East London based college has received ODLQC accreditation following the December Council meeting.

ITC aims to enhance the knowledge of teachers and school managers around the world who are looking to work in the British education system.

Formerly called Dream Harvest College, ITC-London has offered training and assistance for work or placement in the UK and International School for teachers from all over the world. Now offering all forms of delivery, including distance learning, the courses include OCR Teaching Assistant Certificates.

ODL QC Chief Executive David Morley commented "ITC is a relatively new provider. It has made a useful start in helping individuals get into teaching through its OCR teaching assistants course and we look forward to working with and developing this provision in the future".

Speaking at the college Obeng De Lawrence, the college director, expressed his delight "We believe that this accreditation goes a long way in providing a platform or gateway for graduates looking for opportunities to better their lives and contributing to society by studying at our college"
