Seller's Market for Buyers' Guide |
Since publication in January, more than 18,000 of the ODL QC Distance Learning Courses: A Buyer's Guide have been requested and dispatched to FE colleges, careers centres, awarding bodies, and learndirect.
This is clearly an excellent beginning.
ODL QC's Courses Offered by Accredited Providers has an annual distribution of around 9, 000. Learners and organisations have already begun to make contact for more information on our work.
But the story is far from over. New requests arrive daily. Release is about to go into a new phase with a mailing to over a thousand libraries. Copies will soon be sent to Citizen's Advice Bureaux, British Council offices and regional LSC headquarters.
Reaction has been extremely encouraging, with "long overdue" a frequent comment. We hope it will enable learners to make informed choices about the courses available, reassuring them that they will obtain the level and quality they desire.
