The National Open College Network (NOCN) has now been accredited as an awarding body by the QCA.

OtiS, the Online Tutoring Skills Project in Scotland, held its first online workshop in May, and hopes to produce tutor and staff delevopment guidelines arising from it; see www.otis.scotcit.ac.uk
