Diploma of Higher Education and Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design in association with London Guildhall University

More than two years of intensive development work came to fruition in September 1999 when London Guildhall University conferred final validation on a co-operative partnership whereby Rhodec Diploma holders with the grade of Upper Merit of Distinction will be eligible (subject to the award of a Diploma of Higher Education by LGU) to undertake a further distance learning course through Rhodec to qualify for a full Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Interior Design, awarded by LGU.

This course has been specially prepared for Rhodec students, is the only BA Interior Design distance learning course in the world, and will not be available to graduates of any other interior design diploma course. Students who have completed the first five Diploma course subjects (Materials to Colour inclusive) to a suitable standard will be invited to register for the DipHE element of the Diploma Course, which comprises Furniture & Fittings, Part One to the Final Test inclusive. (For a limited transitional period only, those already studying the second half of the course may be able to register for the DipHE).
