The Open and Distance Learning Quality Council, the official body for standards in distance learning, have agreed to re-accredit the International Graphology Association.
Accreditation includes a rigorous assessment of a provider's tutorial support, administrative systems, publicity, and course materials, and is the best way for learners to be sure of choosing a good distance-learning course.
In his report, the Chief Executive Dr David Morley said:
"The International Graphology Association provides excellent training both for professional graphologists, and for those working in related areas who wish to gain supplementary skills."
The report particularly commended the "wide ranging learner support", which includes the assistance of a qualified mentor, voluntary student networks, local study groups, and regular optional seminars.
I.G.A. Principal Lawrence Warner welcomed the re-accreditation,
"not only because the Association meets the standards set by ODLQC but also because ODLQC provides a valuable service in helping accredited institutions to maintain and improve standards."
I.G.A. provides training in handwriting analysis for personality assessment primarily for people seeking a second career. Warner points out the importance of personal relationships in all walks of life and how an understanding of personality from handwriting can help improve those relationships in the home as well as at work. Effectively, it helps people to realise their potential as well as providing rewarding and fulfilling careers.
