This course gives you an opportunity to study at your own pace, in any location, and at a time which is convenient to you. It is based on ten study units (modules), which have been designed and written by Valerie Pyburn and Marie Dart.
The course aims to provide you with:
An opportunity to increase your earning capacity;
An understanding of office politics at executive level;
The confidence to maximise your existing skills;
A thorough knowledge of advanced office systems, leading to increased efficiency and effectiveness;
An awareness of career possibilities and the self-motivation to pursue them;

The course is made up of ten modules, each complete in itself and containing information and theory, practical activities references and recommendations, coursework to be assessed by tutor, and reflection on achievement.
There are also ten study themes for the course, and these will cover a range of topics, including:
Public Relations; Time Management; Business Travel Meetings; Personnel Control; Project Planning; Office Administration; Effective Communication; Data Organisation; Understanding Finance ; Glitz and Glamour.
