Internet Solutions Developer



The Internet Solutions Developer Course caters for the novice IT user through to the most advanced user. Principally the course provides hands-on experience in generic Web skills, Web design, in depth Web programming and e-commerce, an area that is rapidly expanding and providing many job opportunities.

Elements of the course include:

  • Skills in all MS Office applications i.e. Excel, Access & PowerPoint
  • HMTL programming and JavaScripting
  • XML
  • ASP, involving complex database Web programming
  • E-commerce
  • CIW (Certified Internet Webmaster) foundations
  • CIW Site designer
  • CIW e-commerce designer

By completing the course, students will be able to manipulate and design dynamic applications for installation and publication to the Web; learn pliable Web skills; provide business solutions for e-commerce and develop security strategies for Internet connectivity, in a corporate environment.

As well as leading to professionally recognised qualifications such as; CIW Master Designer; the course also combines valuable physical projects, where you can design a commercially viable e-commerce Website (hosted by NITLC), that incorporates the process of accepting payments and transactions. The functional e-commerce site will demonstrate advanced practical Web skills to potential employers.
