Materials only
The materials for gaining CIPD professional qualifications through flexible learning were assessed in 2002 as meeting the Standards of the Open and Distance Learning Quality Council (ODL QC). They are able, with appropriate support, to form the basis of a high quality open learning programme. Under the CIPD Flexible Learning scheme students enrol at learning support centres where they meet similar students and form study groups. They are assigned tutors who provide skills workshops and group tutorials and are provided with high quality study materials written by the Institute. Attendance at the centre is normally about once a month. To find out which colleges operate the scheme:
