At their meeting on Thursday, 19th November 1998, the Open & Distance Learning Quality Council agreed to re-accredit KLC School of Design.
KLC is a London-based school specialising in both face-to-face and home-study courses in interior design and related subjects. A professional Diploma course in Interior Design is available, for those wanting to work in the field, together with a shorter Certificate course in Interior Decoration aimed at students wishing to decorate their homes to a more professional standard. Certificate courses in Garden Design and Decorative Paint Finishes are also offered.
Summarising his report to the Council, the Chief Executive, Dr David Morley, praised the School as having "a strong professional base, a first-class system of tutorial support, and a wide & imaginative range of services to supplement the core distance learning provision".
KLC welcomed accreditation by ODL QC " as a way of helping to monitor high standards in home study and distance learning to which KLC is fully committed".
