This course is geared mainly towards house building and interiors.    The careful tuition and excellent background knowledge provided will give you an excellent grounding in many related subjects.    This will assist students on their way to other, more specialised, areas of design such as commercial projects, furniture and fabric design, to name just a few.

The Diploma Course covers such subjects as: History of Interior Design;   kitchen design;   lighting; flooring;   basic building techniques;   painting and decorating; colour;   windows; fabrics and furniture.    The practical side of the course will cover:   reading a set of house plans;   room by room check-lists;   floor plans and furniture layouts;   colour boards – how to make a presentation – and much more.
