Dr Edward Bach was a physician and a homeopath who believed that the mind played a vital role in maintaining health and recovering from illness. He developed a complete system of 38 flower remedies that work by treating the individual rather than the disease and its symptoms. Today the remedies are used by medical and complementary health practitioners, counsellors, dentists, and vets to name but a few. We offer Bach Flower Remedy courses in association with A. Nelson & Co. Ltd.
Level 1 provides a solid grounding in the remedies via Distance Learning, and is perfect for those students who wish to use the remedies on family and friends or to progress to the next level. This foundation course consists of 5 lessons in easy to follow booklets (which can be downloaded if preferred).
It encourages you to explore the 38 flower remedies at your own pace and gain an understanding of the philosophy behind the practise.
Each student receives two books and an audio tape as well as the course material, and has a personal mentor to respond in writing to their work and any questions. At the course's conclusion the student is issued with a Certificate of Completion by the Dr Edward Bach Foundation.
Level 2 is a two day practical, interactive course which builds on knowledge and adds practical experience. This is held at the Kevala Centre in Torquay.
Level 3 is a workshop for those who wish to use the remedies professionally or incorporate them into existing health practice. It is an intensive four-day course followed by six months of supervised home study.
"Bach" is a trademark of Bach Flower Remedies Ltd, Oxon. England. Learners must allow 3 months between levels one and two, and 6 months between levels two and three.
